BSG MCDONALDS

I rode my bike to PIKEVILLE KY yesterday. Stopped at the BSG MCDONALDS off 23 for breakfast..1015am at least 6 people working and it took 20min to get a sausage egg mcmuffin combo...and when I got it the sausage was WAAAAY under cooked had to take it back. Total time at Ronnie's about 45min..I was not the only one that got the raw sausage either...aint flamin BSG or the local people...maybe I just caught the store at a bad time...should have went on down the road to hardees..I'll be riding that way again cause it is a beautiful area...But I wont be stopping at MCdons. Probably should find a mom and pop place.

That one particular McD's has issues, has had issues, will continue to have issues. There's a major lack of half-way decent employees coming there. If the only applicants you get are the ones that really dont want to work, then you can only hire people that dont really want to work. Hire fire, repeat.
It reminds me a lot of the Norton Hardees - it has really gone downhill - they can't keep anyone there long enough to train them and it's just a nasty cycle.

Next time through just go to Huddle House on the hill across the road next to the hotel.

When the employees tell you over the drive-through speaker after a long wait "you'd better come inside to place your order" you know a place has problems.

We went in the BSG Mickey D's one night and a manager was actually running around the store along with about 5 teenagers throwing water on each other. Then a girl in flip-flops and not wearing a uniform took our order, she then went to the french fries and stirred them with her bare hand, no glove, no scoop, her bare hand.

Then they got my order wrong, not once, not twice, but three times. Finally the manager stopped playing tag and came over and got the order right.

Both places are hideous, but IMO Taco Bell is worse. Don't even try to order cinnamon twists. It doesn't matter if you order 2 items or 10, the chances of you not getting those badboys are the same (about 95%)

Wendy's used to be like that. When I worked at Sykes, Wendy's chili was gold. But getting crackers from them was like trying to bleed a stone. The first few times I went, they didn't even give me any. Who could eat chili without crackers? Started checking my order after that. And even then, many a time I would have to ask for crackers. They act like they were holding on to them for dear life!

Man, you just don't know the half of it. You go to the McD's in BSG, THEY WILL SCREW YOUR ORDER UP SOMEHOW. I don't care if you just go up asking for a straw, you'll go up to the window and some zombie-looking employee will hand you a napkin. We all know that you don't have to be a rocket scientist to work there, but c'mon...start hiring people that have at least 2 functioning brain cells!
